The same wood species are utilized for the three models. On the more elaborate instruments, we use higher grade woods, selected to generate better sound quality, higher volume and finished beauty. The finishing process and varnishes applied, are the same for all models. Built with higher grade woods and improved internal design, of slow and careful realization, the better models are superior instruments with superb tonal qualities, volume and in general, optimum quality instruments.

Our guitars are very responsive, have excellent tone and harmonics, projection, balance, intonation and ease of play. They deliver high volume and sustain. To make our instruments very adaptable to different climates, all our guitars are made in an automatically controlled environment at 45% relative humidity. This also improves sound quality.

The Moncloa family migrated from Spain and settled in Lima by the end of the 1800’s. Ours is a small family concern: Daniel and wife Micheline Ammann. We are engaged exclusively in the hand-making of fine guitars. We make guitars with a European pedigree, and the legacy of artistry and technique of Spaniard guitar makers.

If you want to buy a guitar, we might not have the model you choose in stock at the moment.  We would then make one especially for you. In this case, we need to receive an initial payment of 50 percent of the price. The balance, when the instrument is finished and ready for shipment. We send our guitars via DHL International Door to Door Service – not included in the price -
